Refund Policy

Packaging design is delivered as bespoke professional work against agreed milestones. This policy sets out when fees are refundable, when they are not, and how to raise a refund request.

Review flag: this document contains jurisdiction and entity placeholders marked [REVIEW]. A qualified legal adviser must confirm them before publication. This text is provided for informational purposes and is not legal advice.

01Scope of this policy

This policy applies to design services supplied by ShelfPopping, operating as [REVIEW: registered legal entity name and company registration number], under a written proposal or statement of work. Where a signed agreement contains different refund provisions, that agreement prevails.

02Deposits

Engagements begin on receipt of a deposit, typically [REVIEW: standard deposit percentage] of the total fee. The deposit reserves studio capacity and covers the category and constraint audit. It is refundable in full if you cancel in writing within [REVIEW: cooling-off period required by applicable consumer or commercial law] of payment and before that first stage has begun. Once the audit stage has started, the deposit is non-refundable.

03Cancellation after work has started

You may cancel an engagement at any time with written notice. On cancellation we invoice for all work completed to the date of notice, calculated against the milestones in your proposal, plus any third-party costs already committed on your behalf.

Amounts you have already paid that exceed that total are refunded within [REVIEW: refund processing period, for example 14 or 30 days] to the original payment method.

04Non-refundable items

The following are not refundable once incurred:

Tooling and die charges paid to a converter; physical mockup and sample production; colour proofing and press-side attendance; accredited laboratory transit testing; licensed typefaces, stock imagery and illustration; and expedite fees paid to compress a schedule at your request.

Completed and delivered milestones are also non-refundable, since the deliverables — CAD dielines, mockups, artwork files and specification sheets — have already been supplied.

05Revisions rather than refunds

Each proposal includes a defined number of revision rounds per stage. If a deliverable does not meet the agreed brief, our first remedy is to correct it within those rounds at no extra cost. Requests that change the brief — new SKUs, a different structure, a new positioning — are additional scope and are quoted separately rather than treated as a fault.

06Errors in our work

If a production issue is caused by a demonstrable error in files we prepared, and the error was not present in material you approved, we will correct the files at no charge and discuss a proportionate fee credit. Liability for such errors is limited as set out in our Terms of Service. Errors present in artwork you approved before production, and variation introduced by a third-party printer or converter, fall outside this provision.

07Delays

Where we materially miss an agreed milestone date for reasons within our control and the delay is not remedied within [REVIEW: cure period, for example 14 days], you may cancel the remaining stages and receive a refund of fees paid for undelivered work. Delays caused by late client approvals, incomplete specifications or third-party schedules do not qualify.

08How to request a refund

Email webmaster@draftix.online with your project reference, the invoice numbers concerned and a description of the issue. We acknowledge requests within two working days and provide a written decision, including a milestone-by-milestone calculation, within [REVIEW: decision period, for example 14 days]. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; bank or currency conversion charges are not reimbursed.

09Statutory rights and governing law

Nothing in this policy affects rights you have under mandatory law that cannot be excluded. This policy is governed by the laws of [REVIEW: governing jurisdiction] and should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
